Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology is an important part of membrane separation technology. Reverse osmosis(RO)is the reverse migration of osmosis. It is a pressure-driven method to separate solutes from solvents in solution by selective interception of semi-permeable membranes. RO technology is widely used to purity and concentrate various liquids. One of the most common application examples is in water treatment process,which uses reverse osmosis technology to remove impurities such as inorganic ions, bacteria,virus, organic substances and colloids in raw water to obtain high quality pure water. Because of its high water quality, low operating cost, pollution-free, easy operation and reliable operation, it has become the most energy-saving and simple technology for Sea water Desalination (SWRO) and Brackish water Desalination (BWRO) and pure water preparation(EDI).
At present, reverse osmosis technology has become the preferred water treatment technology in modem industry, widely used in medicine, electronics, chemical industry, food, seawater desalination and many other industries.
