Description

Mechanical Filter is mainly used to remove suspended solids, sediment, iron, manganese and condensed flakes in raw water and adhesive colloidal particles which cannot be removed by sedimentation method. A pre-treatment system consisting of activated carbon filter and demineralizer to provide good production water for the food industry.

Continuous Flow Sand Filter is a kind of simple and efficient filtration technology which is convenient to manage. Relative to traditional silica sand filter,it is a quantum jump.It sets flocculation, clarification and collation in one.  There are no moving parts in the filter,which can guarantee the stability of the system normal operation.  It is widely used in the area of advanced treatment of drinking water, industrial water and sewage deep treatment,and also in the reuse of reclaimed water.  
 

Working Principle
The raw water is sent to the sand filter by the filter, uniformly dispersed into the sand layer by the water separator and passed through the sand layer in an upward flow manner. When the water flows through the sand layer, the formation of the filtration is completed, and the machine is excluded through the overflow weir.

*High efficiency, 24 hours continuous work, no need to stop backwash.  No backflush valve and back-up strainer required.
*Low operating cost, no need for high head and large flow backwash pump, reduce operating cost.  
*Low maintenance costs, active sand filter in the process of operation in addition to quartz sand filter material without any rotating parts, low failure rate, saving maintenance costs.  
*Low one-time investment, do not need to set up a single coagulation tank, clarification tank and other facilities, do not need to backwash pump and electric, pneumatic valves and other equipment, small amount of engineering, one-time investment savings.  
*Small head loss, due to the use of single-stage filter material and filter material clean in time, so the active sand filter head loss is very small, about 0.5m.  
*Loose inlet water quality requirements, can withstand long-term 150mg/L SS inlet water quality and effluent water quality unchanged.  
*Good filtration effect, stable effluent water quality.  Filter material clean timely, can ensure high quality, stable water effect, no periodic water quality fluctuation phenomenon.
